Asian Pears

A cross between an Apple and a Pear. Medium sized apple shaped fruits with a rough skin, like a Pear. Supplied at 4-5' in height; usually settles to crop within 2-3 seasons, often sooner. The flavour is a subtle cross between the two. Juicy, mild and very pleasurable to eat. Asian pears prefer a sheltered spot and blossom very early with pretyt prominent flower clusters. All are self ertile and well worth growing; a very different fruit tree for the garden or orchard. About 10' on maturity; plant 10-12' apart.
