Cherries - Colt
Colt is the original popular rootstock for Cherries and can be controlled to around 8-12' in height. Plant trees 10' apart. SUPPLIED AT 5-6' HIGH APPROX. Crops very well usually within 2-3 seasons following planting, suits fan training and festooning growth methods as well as a tradiitonal tree. Copes better with poorer soils than Gisele.
